Construction of these last two units on the Flatiron-shaped block are now underway following the completion of the first four units of the Trenton Stables project. Construction work at the Trenton Stables site in Fishtown only just got underway, but one of the six luxury townhome units is already under contract. 

AGA Developers announced last week that 2223 Trenton Avenue (Lot E) is under contract for $473,500. The interest already being shown in these units testifies to the buzz around Trenton Stables and AGA’s other Fishtown project, Frankford Square, which is in its final stage of construction a few blocks south in Fishtown. 

As of Friday February 27, 2015, the property at 2223 Trenton Avenue (Lot E) is ​now sold.

Construction at AGA Developers' Trenton Stables project, scheduled to begin this week, is being delayed slightly due to the impending snowstorm and drop in temperatures. Work is now scheduled to commence Monday, Feb. 9th.

The first phase of the Trenton Stables project will be four homes, estimated to be completed by mid June. The project will eventually consist of six residential units fronting historic Trenton Avenue, one block off of Frankford Avenue in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood.

With the return of milder weather, progress is heating up at AGA Developers' Frankford Square project in Fishtown. This week saw the installation of insulation at 1849 Blair Street and 1851 Blair Street

AGA Developers reports significant progress on both residences located at 1849 Blair Street and 1851 Blair Street. The snow has been relentless these last few weeks in Fishtown but the progress is astounding.

Progress can mostly be seen on exterior of both residences. The stucco is complete on 3 sides and the facade on Blair Street is looking awesome!

Despite the weather which included a storm that dumped about 8 inches of snow in Fishtown early in the week, then a second storm that brought more snow and freezing rain mid-week, AGA Developers can report much progress on both 1849 Blair Street and 1851 Blair Street.

The exterior facade is almost complete. You can see the stucco facing on the rear portion of the building and on the side of 1851. On the front facing Blair Street bricks have been added . You can see through the scaffolding that the units are starting to come together.

Much credit should be given to the on-site crews that have been 'playing through' the extreme conditions. On the interior of both units you can now see that the plumbing almost completely installed. The wiring for outlets, appliances and lighting has been run and many light fixtures are set in place. Heating ducts are in process but clearly progress is being made.

As you can see from the photos 1849 Blair Street and 1851 Blair Street are both well underway. To dress up the jobsite during construction, smart looking transparent signs for AGA Developers and Frankford Square have been added to the exterior fencing on along Frankford Avenue.

The framing, of course, is complete on the interior of both luxury townhomes and the plumbing lines have been run efficiently marking hot (red) and cold (blue). Scaffolding has been erected and rainwater protection is in the process of being added to the facade. Sewer, water and electric have been connected to both properties on Blair Street.

Thoughtfully designed with skilled craftsmanship, the garage front includes an entry door with hallway. However, there is also an option to create a carriage house entry. The rear yard is 18x20 and is completely fenced.

Blair Street is completely torn up as AGA Builders works to install new water and septic for all the 7 Blair Street properties to be built. Blair runs parallel to Frankford Avenue, so the seven houses on Blair will back up to the 7 on Frankford with all the backyard sitting on the interior of Frankford Square. Should lead to a nice community feel inside the square.

With the framing and stairways erected you can start to get a feel for the living spaces inside 1849 Blair Street and 1851 Blair Street. The windows are all installed on both properties. The first floor openings in the back that can still be seen from Frankford Avenue are purposely left with the slider off to protect the slider and leave a larger opening during construction. The roof and Blair Street-facing balconies are now covered and water-proofed. Besides the slider, all doors are also installed.
